WCAYSA is also known as the "Friends of the Wisconsin Challenge Academy".  We are a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. 

We provide support and education for parents, family members, friends and mentors of at-risk youth who volunteer to attend the Wisconsin Challenge Academy. We provide information to Wisconsin taxpayers about the importance of the Wisconsin Challenge Academy. We have fundraising events to raise money to support and educate cadets, parents, family members, friends, mentors and Wisconsin taxpayers.
